Miami, Florida -India tops Billboard’s Tropical charts once again with “Única” which debuted this week at #1 on the Tropical Album chart and #4 in the Top Latin Albums chart. “Unica” is India’s fifth #1 on the Tropical Albums chart. The album’s first single “Estúpida” has been topping the Tropical Singles chart since its release and recently peaked at #1.
“Única” is India’s first album in four years and marks her return to working with renown producer Sergio George, who produced the artist’s first solo Salsa album “Dicen que Soy” in 1994. The album, which includes several tracks in English, also includes arrangements by Isidro Infante and the legendary Maestro Carlos Franzetti.
Known as “the Salsa Princess”, India is enjoying her 27th year in the music industry. She has sung everything from Freestyle and Soul to Salsa and has garnered worldwide fame and appeal, having performed on stages and sold-out concert halls throughout the US, Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, Europe and North Africa, among others.
Last year, the songstress joined Top Stop Music, currently the leading label in the Tropical genre, under the creative vision of Sergio George.
