Miami, FL - Prince Royce’s self-titled debut album has been certified Double Platinum in the United States and Puerto Rico by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) just a year after being released (March 5, 2010).

Prince Royce is also enjoying a second week at #1 on US Hispanic Radio, with the smash hit penned by the artist, “Corazón Sin Cara”, according to Billboard’s Latin Songs Chart. The song continues in the #1 spot on the Tropical Songs list for the fourth consecutive week, while Prince Royce is the artist with the most spins on Latin radio stations in New York, Miami, Houston, Chicago, Tampa and Dallas.

These milestones come on the heels of many others recently achieved for the 21 year old Dominican-American singer/songwriter who has proven himself as the hottest new artist Latin music has seen in years. Prince Royce was nominated for a Latin GRAMMY 2010. He recently won three Premio Lo Nuestro awards, becoming the solo artist with the most awards in 2011; has six nominations to the Billboard Latin Music Awards 2011 and three nominations to the Premio Casandra in the Dominican Republic.

The artist, who has had two successful European tours in the past year, is about to embark on his first US tour starting tomorrow, and his shows in Philadelphia and New Jersey are already sold out.
