Miami, FL - Luis Enrique’s brand new hit single “Locos Los 2” has become the Tropical song with the most radio airplay in the United States and Puerto Rico according to Mediabase and BDS. “Locos Los 2” has received more than 500 spins, surpassing the #2 song by over 100 spins (according to Mediabase), making it the most played song on Tropical radio in the country for the second consecutive week.

“Locos Los 2” is the first single off of his latest album “SOY Y SERE” which was released less than a month ago, a masterpiece of ten songs that include a combination of fresh sounds mixed in with classic salsa. The track was written by Luis Enrique and singer, songwriter Alex Cuba who co-wrote four songs on the album. The award-winning duo of composers and musicians Jorge Luis Piloto ("Sabes" and "Una Fotografia") and Jorge Villamizar ("El Reto") are also a part of this album, as well as songwriter Monica Velez ("Descontrolame") - known for her hits with the group, Camila, as well as the artist’s brother Ramón Mejía (better known as Perrozompopo) who co-wrote “Dame De Tu Boca”. SOY Y SERE also includes two duets: “Deseos” featuring Alex Cuba and “Sabes” featuring Latin music sensation, Prince Royce.

After his 2009 triumphant return to the salsa scene, following a 10-year absence, singer/songwriter Luis Enrique, became the most important tropical music comeback in recent years. His last album CICLOS, also produced by Sergio George (Top Stop Music), topped the radio charts and became an audience favorite worldwide. Its first single “Yo No Se Manana” reached the top of the charts throughout Latin America, the US and Europe becoming the tropical song most listened to in 2009, according to the charts.

Winner of a Grammy Award, two Latin Grammy Awards, three Lo Nuestro Awards, and two Billboard Latin Music Awards for “CICLOS” and many more awards in the past, Luis Enrique, a versatile musician, who is considered to be one of the best percussionists of Latin music, is ready to continue reaping successes and receiving awards with this new project and thus restore once again why he has been regarded as “El Principe de la Salsa”.
