Miami, FL - The much awaited reunion of the undisputed “Prince of Salsa” with his faithful Puerto Rican fans took place this past weekend with two sold out performances at the Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce, where the singer-songwriter re-conquered audiences with his powerful lyrics and boundless energy.

The four-time Latin GRAMMY® nominee demonstrated with two untouchable performances that with his new musical project, “Ciclos”, he has once again taken his rightful place within Tropical music and in the hearts of his countless admirers.

He thrilled the thousands of spectators present throughout two consecutive concert evenings, showcasing his well honed guitar skills and performing some his most memorable hits like “Compréndelo” and “Desesperado”, along with new songs from his latest release, including the hit single that has brought him back to top of the popularity charts, “Yo no sé mañana”.

“Conscious that his career took off in Puerto Rico, ‘The Salsa Prince’ put on an ingenious performance, undoubtedly with the intention of reciprocating all the support he has always received from local audiences”, Jaime Torres Torres wrote of the artist in his article “Loas al Príncipe” (Praise the Prince) printed by El Nuevo Día.

“The same concert hall that welcomed him on his first performance in the island in the decade of the 90s, resonated with each and every note performed by the artist”, Mildred Tirado Vázquez published on her review of Luis Enrique for Primera Hora.

After receiving a Gold Record from Top Stop Music presidents Sergio George and Gregory Elías, for well over 50,000 units sold of his new release “Ciclos” and an award from Billboard magazine for holding the magazine’s #1 Tropical Airplay spot for 11 consecutive weeks, Luis Enrique arrives in Mexico City today to begin an ambitious promotional tour in the Aztec capital.
