Bachata superstar Anthony (Romeo) Santos of Aventura has new competition in Prince Royce.

The 21-year-old Bronx native has been dominating the charts and attracting fans with his effortless charm. He has an irresistible smile complete with an even cuter dimple, and yes, he sings in a high-pitched voice that is unabashedly sweet.

But Prince Royce, born Geoffrey Royce Rojas, is not just another Romeo-wanna-be.

"If Aventura didn't do what they did, I would have not come in as fast as I came in," says the singer-songwriter son of Dominican immigrants. "[But] I'm not trying to follow anybody's footsteps. I'm just trying to be me and be successful, and how far I go depends on the public."

So far, the public has been more than swooned.
