New York, NY - On November 13th, Latin music’s hottest new artist, Latin Grammy nominee Prince Royce, will host his first-ever United States concert at the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in his hometown of the Bronx, New York.

“This past year has been more than a dream come true and to be able to top it off by performing my first full concert in the US at the Lehman Center, is extraordinary. All I can say is that it will be an unforgettable celebration for the fans as well as for me,” said Royce.

While, Prince Royce, born Geoffrey Royce Rojas, has performed hundreds of US shows whether headlining in clubs or as a featured artist in stadium/arena radio concerts, the Lehman Center show marks the first time the artist will produce and host an entire concert for his fans, thereby closing an amazing year full of achievements and accolades for the young artist.

Royce’s self-titled debut album was released in March of 2010 and has already been certified Gold by the RIAA, while also garnering a Latin GRAMMY® nomination (for Best Tropical Contemporary Album). “Prince Royce”, which features mostly bachatas fused with other contemporary rhythms, includes the artist’s tour de force first single, a bilingual and bachata cover of the classic and timeless 1961 Ben E. King song, “Stand By Me” as well as follow-up single, composed by Royce, “Corazón Sin Cara.”

Recently, Royce’s rendition of “Stand By Me” became the first bachata song ever to be played on mainstream (Pop and R&B) radio in the United States. The video of the song has been viewed more than five million times on YouTube alone. This, in addition to remaining on the top of the Latin Charts on Billboard and iTunes for many consecutive weeks and being asked to perform on the most highly-rated Latin TV programs and award shows, has made the 21 year old one of the top up-and-coming solo artists in the industry.

“Stand By Me” recently reached the #1 position on Billboard for tropical radio airplay and the #6 position on Billboard for overall Latin radio airplay (across all genres of Latin music). It has also reached #2 in digital download sales of tropical music.

“Prince Royce” has been the #1 Tropical Album for four consecutive weeks and is currently the #3 album in overall Latin music sales.

New Top Stop Music label mates, Loisaidas, the urban bachata duo hailing from Manhattan’s Lower East Side will be the concert’s opening act.

The concert is a production of Top Stop Talent and Zhar Entertainment Group.
