New York, NY - This week, Latin Music’s hottest new artist is getting an extra push from MTV as they spotlight Prince Royce as their ‘PUSH’ artist of the week by airing his “Corazon Sin Cara” video as well as artist promo spots, exclusive interviews and content on MTV and MTV.com. This marks the first time, MTV has featured a Latin artist as part of their “PUSH’ campaign.
Each week, MTV selects a new ‘PUSH’ (Play Until Someone Hears) artist to promote. The artists and bands range from up-and-coming artists to more established acts. During an artist or band’s ‘PUSH’ week, MTV uses its massive on-air and online reach to bring fans unparalled access to the week’s artist ranging from live performances, music videos, interviews and exclusive footage. Previous “PUSH” artists have included BoB, Jason Derulo, Trey Songz and Drake.
The ‘PUSH’ campaign could not have come at a better time for this 21 year old Dominican New Yorker whose debut as a recording artist in the Latin music industry has been phenomenal.
