Miami, Florida Latin music’s hottest new artist, Prince Royce, is number one on Latin Tropical radio in the United States and Puerto Rico with hit single “Stand By Me” according to the Tropical Songs chart published by Billboard. The song is also number eight on the Hot Latin Tracks chart, of Latin singles across all genres.
Royce’s “Stand By Me”, a bilingual Bachata version of the 1961 Ben E. King classic has received such widespread acceptance that besides being played on Spanish-language and bilingual radio stations in the United States, it is also getting significant airplay on top Hip Hop/Popular music stations in the country, marking the first time Bachata is played on English-language radio.
The talent of this young Dominican American from New York is also conquering other markets around the world. Prince Royce is currently in Europe, where he has surpassed all ticket sales expectations for his first-ever European tour, selling out ten concerts in Spain and Italy.
