Prince Royce receives six 2011 Latin Billboard award nominations

Miami, Florida - Prince Royce has been nominated for six 2011 Latin Billboard Awards: Debut Artist of the Year; Hot Latin Songs, Male Artist of the Year; Top Latin Albums, Male Artist of the Year; Tropical Airplay, Solo Artist of the Year; Tropical Albums, Album of the Year and Tropical Albums, Solo Artist of the Year.

“I feel truly blessed to receive so many nominations for my debut album. I am beyond grateful to my fans for their love and support as they have so much to do with this great honor,” expressed Prince Royce upon learning of the nominations.

At 21 years of age, Prince Royce has become Latin music’s top new solo artist. His self-titled debut album was released in March 2010 and only 9 months later was certified Platinum in the US and Puerto Rico. It also received a Latin GRAMMY nomination (for Best Tropical Contemporary Album) and remained at #1 in tropical album sales for 14 consecutive weeks according to Billboard and Soundscan. The album’s first two singles also reached #1 on tropical radio as well as the top ten among all Latin songs, according to Billboard.

This Saturday, Prince Royce kicks-off his first US Tour at the Bank United Center at the University of Miami. Tickets for the tour which includes stops in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, are already available at www.ticketmaster.com and at venue box offices.

Prince Royce is signed to the Top Stop Music label, owned by Gregory Elias and renown music producer Sergio George, with Sony Music distribution in the US, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
