Miami, Florida - Prince Royce has received three Casandra Award nominations: Best New Artist, Best Artist Renown Outside of the Dominican Republic and Album of the Year.
“To be nominated for three Casandra Awards is something very special, receiving such recognition in my family’s homeland fills me with great pride and is a dream come true,” expressed the young Dominican American singer songwriter.
The Casandra Awards are the most prestigious awards given each year in the Dominican Republic by Acroarte, the organization of Arts Journalists. This year the ceremony will take place on March 22nd at Santo Domingo’s Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito.
In a very short time, 21 year old Prince Royce is conquering the Latin music world. His self-titled debut album released in March of 2010, has been certified platinum in the United States and Puerto Rico and Prince Royce has received two 2010 Latin Grammy nominations and five Premio Lo Nuestro nominations.
