06 Oct 2009

Miami, FL - The artist entrepreneur and creator of countless hits, Sergio George, has renewed strengths this year, taking on a variety of new musical projects under his wing. As a result of these efforts, he has been nominated in the “Producer of the Year” category for the upcoming Tenth Annual Latin GRAMMY® awards.

After successfully recovering from a tragic car accident that almost took his life in 2008, George has conquered the international music market once again with the production of several new musical projects that have once again set him as a central figure in the industry.

One of his many achievements this year has been the creation of an innovative new concept in children’s music called BKidz, “this project was conceptualized to promote the Latin culture in children all over the world”, George explains.

He also produced the successful album that marked the eminent return of salsa artist Luis Enrique to the music industry, “Ciclos”. Also a talented musician, the Puerto Rican producer has worked with renowned super stars like Marc Anthony, Jennifer López, La India and Celia Cruz, to name a few. Throughout his extensive career, he has continuously promoted and encouraged the emergence of new Latin talents.

He is also president of the new independent label Top Stop Music, whose catalogue features Bkidz, Prince Royce and Luis Enrique.

Last Saturday, he awarded Luis Enrique with a Gold Record for the sales of his album ‘Ciclos’ at the Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce, Puerto Rico.
