Miami, FL - One could say this is a very good week for Prince Royce! On the same week his 58 week old debut album becomes #1 in the country, comes the news that the 21 year old singer-songwriter has been nominated for two 2011 Billboard Music Awards. Royce is nominated for Top Latin Artist and Top Latin Album, alongside Latin music giants Shakira and Enrique Iglesias (also nominated in both categories). He also has six nominations to the Billboard Latin Music Awards 2011, which will be held on April 28th.

Prince Royce is the hottest new artist Latin music has seen in recent history. His self-titled double platinum debut album is the #1 album in the United States and Puerto Rico. The album’s second single, “Corazón Sin Cara” (written by the artist himself) recently topped the charts as the #1 song in the country. He has had two sold out tours in Europe and one in the United States.

The young Dominican American received two 2010 Latin GRAMMY nominations and recently won three Premio Lo Nuestro awards, becoming the solo artist with the most awards in 2011.

Prince Royce is signed to the Top Stop Music label, owned by Gregory Elias and renown music producer Sergio George, with Sony Music distribution in the US and Puerto Rico.
