LOS ANGELES, CA - Top Stop Music garnered three Latin GRAMMY® nominations this morning, including Best Salsa Album for India’s “Unica”; Best Contemporary Tropical Album for Prince Royce’s self-titled debut recording; and Producer of the Year for Sergio George, who also co-owns the independent label.
“I am honored to receive these nominations not only as a producer but also on behalf of Top Stop Music. In a very short time our label has released top quality productions and it is very rewarding to receive such positive responses from the public as well as our peers in the industry. I congratulate Prince Royce and India for their talent and hard work!” remarked George.
While Top Stop Music was founded in May of 2009, this is the second consecutive year the label receives multiple Latin GRAMMY® nominations. Last year, George was also nominated for Producer of the Year while label artist Luis Enrique received four nominations. In fact, of the four productions Top Stop has released in the 16 months since its inception, three have been nominated for Latin GRAMMYS®.
